Sony Computer Entertainment will debut its international marketing campaign for the PlayStation3 online before it airs the TV commercial a week later.
The campaign, which will promote the console as an ‘entertainment super computer’ in the run-up to Christmas, will launch first on Thisisliving.com this week before it airs on UK TV channels from 1 December.
The campaign, created by TBWA\London, will illustrate the entertainment available on the PS3. It will be supported by the website, created by Brighton-based digital agency Kerb, which will feature video and interactive content and showcase upcoming games.
Alan Duncan, marketing director of Sony Computer Entertainment UK, said, “The campaign is designed to showcase the wealth of entertainment available on the PS3 with creative that both entertains and informs in equal measure.”
The campaign will run across 16 other territories in Europe and Australia.
